Jacques Royal is a visionary leader, proud U.S. Army veteran, and a lifelong champion of creative and community-driven change. With over four decades of experience in the music, media, and nonprofit sectors, Jacques founded Sage Touch Inc. with one purpose: to uplift underserved communities in the Rio Grande Valley by turning vision into infrastructure, and dreams into opportunity.

After honorably serving as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, Jacques transitioned from military leadership to a civilian life steeped in service, artistry, and mentorship. Whether producing music, mentoring youth, or designing community development programs, Jacques has always found power in storytelling and connection. His career has taken him from global entertainment stages to grassroots civic engagement, where he saw firsthand the systemic barriers families face in housing, healthcare, and access to education.

That realization—born from experience and empathy—led to the creation of Sage Touch Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to addressing the housing crisis, promoting financial literacy, expanding access to mental health and medical services, and nurturing young talent through arts and technology. With a unique background that blends technical precision, artistic excellence, and a deep understanding of underserved communities, Jacques brings both heart and strategy to every initiative.

Under his leadership, Sage Touch is more than a nonprofit—it's a movement toward sustainable empowerment. Jacques continues to live by the belief that if you build opportunity, people will rise to meet it.
